Overview

Description:
A Prechamber Gasket is a gasket that covers the gap between two or more mating surfaces and is often used to prevent leakage from or into the connected components when under compression. Gaskets are normally made from a flat material, a sheet such as paper, rubber, silicone, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber, fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (otherwise known as PTFE or Teflon) or a plastic polymer (such as polychlorotrifluoroethylene).

Attributes:
• 70/30 Cupro Nickel alloy is used.
• Rockwell Hardness not exceeding 50 - 60 HR after machining.
• Manufactured to precise specifications and are built for durability, reliability, and productivity.
• Designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures, allowing them to maintain their sealing ability.

Applications:
A Prechamber Gasket used in between the Cylinder Head and the Prechamber assembly in the Engine Arrangement is also used on applications where anti-vibration, packaging, noise, and sound reduction are required. Predominantly used in Cat 3508 Generator Set Engine, G3606, G3612, G3616, G3606, and G3608 Gas Engine.
